Long waves in Mistral conditions, flat water in an easterly wind. The water gets deep quickly.
Kite surfing is restricted to certain areas during summer due to high number of beach guests. Pay attention to nearby road, as the beach is fairly narrow.
Accomodation options are plenty. You may either want to stay in Hyeres, the biggest town in the area, and commute to the bay via taxi or rented car. Or you may choose to stay at the Giens Peninsula to be closer to the kite spot.
The bay is located only 10 min from Toulon airport. From both Hyeres and the Giens peninsula, it is a short ride to the far stretched Almanarre bay.
